The wider width fork is great for changing leather and rubber watch straps. Whilst the fine 1.2 mm fork is ideal for getting into tighter positions, like with metal watch straps where there is normally a small machine slot to access the spring bar pins, which can't be done with some larger tools.

The fork is reversible and you will find on the other end a useful 0.8mm flat head pushing pin, which can be used with watch cases with drilled through spring bar holes.
